MOORESVILLE, N.C. (September 12, 2012) - McCallister Precision Marketing (MPM) is pleased to announce that Ryan Lynch, a 26 year-old driver from New Boston, Texas, will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut at Iowa Speedway this weekend driving the No. 27 BlankHood.com Chevrolet. Ryan will be mentored by Rick Crawford, a five-time winner and 16-year veteran of the truck series. MPM owner Tonya McCallister and Crawford agree that Iowa Speedway will be the ideal place for Ryan to make his first NCWTS start.
"A first truck series start is something you only do once, so we want to help Ryan get in some quality laps and have a chance to make a smooth transition into this series. He has plenty of talent and potential, and I look forward to working with Ryan at Iowa," said Crawford.
Lynch is no stranger to the sport. He has been racing since he was 8 years old. He initially competed in karts on numerous dirt and asphalt tracks before progressing to the IMCA Limited Modified and US Legends Series. In 2010, Ryan took his late-model truck program to the road competing at short-tracks and superspeedways throughout the US and finished fifth in the United States Super Truck Series national circuit as a rookie. In early 2011, Ryan took on the challenge of testing with ARCA Racing Series at Daytona. From there, he competed and earned a 16th-place finish in his first NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race at South Boston Speedway. He then finished the year with a 13th-place finish at Salem Speedway in the ARCA Racing Series.

I have no doubt that with the team and equipment Rick has put together, I will be able to gain valuable experience and track time in my first start with the Camping World Truck Series," stated Ryan.
Lynch will be pulling double duty this weekend by competing in the ASA Midwest Tour Series race on Friday for team owner Andy Ponstein, a former NASCAR Nationwide Series driver, and then taking the wheel on Saturday as one of NASCAR's newest Camping World Truck Series competitors.
Qualifying for this weekend's truck race is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, September 15th.
The American Ethanol 200 Presented by HyVee is slated to take the green flag at 8:30 p.m. ET Saturday. The race will be shown live on SPEED Channel, with pre-race coverage beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET.
